zozi Guru Maya Gabeira Wins 5th Billabong XXL Global Big Wave Award
Here at zozi, we always take the time to celebrate the achievements of our teammates and partners – especially when they involve crushing the biggest waves in the world, like our very own zozi Guru Maya Gabeira does.
We’re stoked to announce that Maya just won her fifth overall Girls Best Performance Award in Billabong XXL Global Big Wave Award history last Friday in Los Angeles, CA. Gabeira has won four consecutive awards between 2007 – 2010 and is considered one of the most well-rounded female big wave surfers in the world.
We think she’s one of the most badass girls (and surfers) we know. And soon enough, you’ll be able to be hit the waves with her yourself when we unveil her amazingly cool zozi Guru experience.
